Last updated: June 18, 2026. ShutterBid uses personal information to run the photo and video marketplace, protect users, support bookings, and respond to safety or account requests.
Information We Collect
- Account and contact details: name, email address, role, login identifiers, and profile details you provide.
- Marketplace content: job posts, bids, bookings, portfolio media, profile media, venue or business information, messages, comments, reactions, and support details.
- Safety and support records: reports, moderation notes, support requests, account deletion requests, dispute details, and admin action history.
- Technical information: device, browser, authentication, diagnostic, crash, analytics, and usage information when those services are enabled.
- Payment or refund context: booking and refund details needed to coordinate payments, disputes, or accounting. Payment providers may collect their own required information.
How We Use Information
- Operate accounts, profiles, job posts, bids, bookings, business leads, venues, support, and notifications.
- Moderate content, review reports, detect scams, prevent off-platform payment pressure, and enforce marketplace rules.
- Provide customer support, investigate disputes, improve reliability, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- Measure app health and product performance when privacy-safe analytics, crash reporting, or monitoring tools are configured.
Sharing
ShutterBid shares information with clients, photographers, venues, admins, and business users when needed to operate marketplace workflows. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, email, support, analytics, moderation, maps, monitoring, and security. We may disclose information when required for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, or to protect ShutterBid and its users.
Retention and Deletion
You can request account deletion in the app at /account/delete. We delete or de-identify account information that is no longer needed, while retaining limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, legal compliance, or active marketplace obligations.
Your Choices
- Update account and profile details from the relevant account surfaces.
- Use support to request help, report data concerns, or ask about retained records.
- Use reporting tools to flag unsafe content, scams, harassment, stolen media, or off-platform payment pressure.
Children, Store Disclosures, and Contact
ShutterBid is not directed to children. App Store privacy labels and Google Play Data Safety disclosures must match the data practices described here and the SDKs enabled in production. Contact ShutterBid through support for privacy, safety, or deletion questions.
